Ontario Writ Locator ‘OWL’ Search

A search of all Ontario Execution databases for Writs (outstanding judgements) against the individual or business name(s) specified.

This will search across all 49 enforcement offices of the Ministry of Attorney General Writs database. The report will only provide the writ number and identify the jurisdiction of the sheriff/enforcement office. A Writ Detail Report must be ordered by the writ number to obtain details of the writ (issue date, court type, judgment amount, etc.)

The Ontario Writ Locator search will not provide information on other existing, or previous court (litigation) cases that may be on file involving the name(s) searched.  Litigation searches can be added for an additional search fee.
