5. The official filing confirmation from the OBR will be emailed to the official email address indicated in the application form. Centro will also email the filing confirmation(s) to the contacts indicated on this order form. Refer to item 4 for delays in the email receipt.

Fees and Minimum Service Charges
Once your order has been submitted to 'Centro' it is understood by you, the client, that the fees paid are considered non-refundable. Centro at its sole discretion may choose to refund partial payment of the fees paid only if the order has not yet been completed. A minimum fee of $25.00 will apply in all circumstances. The Ontario Business Registry (OBR) does not provide refunds for any reason once a filing has been submitted and processed. If a cancellation of an order was provided and acknowledge by Centro prior to the government fee being disbursed, the client is entitled to a refund in the amount collected for the government fee.

Sole Proprietorships: If there are changes to the sole proprietor’s address, primary activity of the business, or the principal place of business address, you must update your registration within 15 days after the change by filing an amendment under the Business Names Act (BNA). (no government fees apply)

General Partnerships: If there are changes to the primary activity, address of principal place of business or partners of the firm, you must update your registration within 15 days after the change by filing an amendment (no government fees apply). Please note that a change of your firm name or a complete change of partners requires a NEW business registration. (government fees apply)

If the general partner is a corporation or partnership and there is a change in information regarding the general partner that has already been filed under this Act or another Act (e.g. Business Corporations Act) and the Registrar appointed under the Business Names Act (BNA) has issued a Certificate of Registration showing the change, an amended registration does not need to be filed. The ministry will update the information and a copy of the Certificate of Registration will be emailed to the official email address on file.
