As per the Administrative Notice from the Court of King’s Bench for Saskatchewan
Beginning December 1, 2024 the court will introduce a new case tracking system called J-STAR which will allow for province-side searches for cases commenced on or after January 1, 2005. For case details commenced on or before January 1, 2005, a separate request needs to be submitted to each local judicial center (jurisdiction) individually.
A provincial search will disclose results for civil actions for or against the party names commenced in every judicial center (jurisdiction) within Saskatchewan for actions commenced on or after January 1, 2005. The names of the parties to be searched are searched exactly as provided in the request and cover a 10 year search period unless otherwise specified.
The accuracy of court searches is dependent on spelling and punctuation. Searches will be conducted using the names exactly how they appear on a search request. For example, if “Ltd.” is contained in the request, search results for “Limited” will not appear in the results.
Administrative notice issued October 31st, 2024 by the Court of King’s Bench for Saskatchewan.
