As another year-end quickly approaches, we are anticipating a large number of filing and registration requests. Please see the information below for helpful reminders to help ensure your filings are processed without issues and the required dates are secured.
Securing Specific Filing Dates:
Requests with a Company Key: If you are submitting a filing request with a company key, please send the filing request as soon as possible to secure the specific filing date.
Requests without a Company Key: If you are submitting a filing request and you do not have a company key, it is strongly recommended that the filing be submitted by 5 p.m. on Friday December 15, 2023 in order to secure a specific filing date.
Reminder: Due to significant overall filing volume of the OBR at this time of year, the processing times may be longer than usual.
Submitting Filing Requests:
Submitting by email: Filing requests can be emailed directly to fi*****@ce**************.com Please always include the entity name in the subject line and clearly identify the type of filing or registration in the body of the email.
Application Forms: Please make sure you are using the most current version of the applicable application form. Always ‘save as’ and send us the form in fillable format with the ALL blue text fields visible. Do not print, sign and scan the forms, the data fields must be accessible.
Schedules and Attachments: If you are attaching PDF schedules to your email (e.g. for amalgamations) please ensure they are saved as text documents and not photos as they can create very large file sizes that can exceed email limitations. For schedules in Word format, please make sure there are no hidden characters, or special formatting as this can cause issues when uploading to the Registry system.
Urgent Filing Requests: Due to the increased number of urgent requests during this time of year we ask that you clearly mark the entity name and filing date required in the subject line of the email. For example, the subject line can be as follows: Articles of Amalgamation – ABC Technology Limited – To be dated: December 31, 2023
Please also include any special filing instructions within the body of the email, for things like special order or back-to-back filings.
